    Why the Memorial Day sale?  Simple.  Our fans have waited for 8 years to get Boo Koo back in their hands.  You have been loyal and when we started this journey a few years ago, we said we would be honest with you and if we said something was going to happen, it would happen.  We started bringing the drinks back just like we promised, however we knew that getting them back in stores was going to a long journey.  We were faced with a few choices.

    1.  Only sell Boo Koo in stores and let the fans wait until is was back in stores near them,
    Or
    2.  Offer Boo Koo online at a great price so they can enjoy the drinks until it gets into stores near them.

    We chose to offer them online as well as in stores.  No other energy drink company that we know of offers this price online.  Of course we want to generate more sales, every company wants more sales.  However, what we also want is for any every fan to have the ability to buy this great tasting energy drink again,  (We want our Canadian fans to have the ability to buy it as well, but for now, honestly, it is out of our control.  We will let those fans know as soon as it can be sold there again.)

    This is a good question. The answer is rather simple. We sold 5 months of product in 6 weeks. Although we had what we thought was enough inventory to take us through July and our next run was being delivered in late April, we had over 3 months of extra BooKoo to get us by. We are thrilled so many people like our drink, but we are disappointed we ran out. We could not have predicted that we would sell so much in such a short time frame. However, there is a silver lining to this cloud. When we have our next run delivered, there will be another flavor. We will be announcing which one very soon both here and on our social media pages. Again, we are sorry for the inventory issue but we will have more BooKoo soon. Stay tuned, thank you for being a fan. Thank you, The BooKoo Team

    We get asked everyday by our fans why we are not in stores nationwide yet. We decided to explain why. The fastest answer is shelf space. All of the convenient stores have a limited amount of shelf space for drinks. All drinks. Sodas, juices, milk and yes, Energy Drinks. Stores must use their limited shelf space to make as much money as possible. So, of course, the big 3 Energy Drink companies get the vast majority of the allotted shelf space. That leaves everyone else to fight for the other 10% – 15% of the shelf space which is usually at the bottom. The major soft drink companies also have their brands that go in this space. Even though Boo Koo was extremely popular in 2008, we are not as well-known today. We are working to change that. At last count there were over 60 energy drinks that were recognized and roughly 100 more that are under the radar as far as sales. Many stores are very reluctant to carry a new product without very solid sales data to minimize their risk. We are lucky as we have a very good name that is recognized, so we are getting in stores. However, we do not have a recent sales history that the big chain stores are looking for. So, how do we attack this problem? Most good Energy Drinks are priced between $2.09 and $2.79 per can. They also offer 2 for $4.00. So, if the convenience stores need sales data, we will give it to them, but we need your help. Our price is $2.12 per can delivered to your door if you are in the USA. If you go to a local store, you may have taxes + deposit etc. (not to mention your time and the gas needed to get to the store) which even at 2 for $4.00 could make it more expensive per can than Boo Koo. In order to offer this price we have to ship in boxes of 16 cans. Our first goal was to get Boo Koo back in the hands of our fans anyway possible at a fair price. Next, is to get it in more and more stores to make it convenient for you to buy only a few at a time. So, if our fans will help us out by buying a box or two and understanding that even though it is a bigger one-time expense, it is probably cheaper in the long run. We also want you to share with your friends that Boo Koo is back. We are running an aggressive online advertising campaign to let as many people know as possible, but it helps if all of our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram fans help out. As most of you know, it only takes one post to go viral and ½ of the United States will know we are back. Our commitment to you is that we will continue to offer Boo Koo and bring the flavors back as soon as we can. Citrus is next and we are well on our way to having the sales needed to do that. There is no set time for the return, but everything is based on sales. Thanks to all the fans that have bought a box or more and we hope you are enjoying the Big Flavor and Big Energy. Keep spreading the word and the stores will come to us asking if they can carry Boo Koo and it will all be because of our fans.

    As most of you know, Boo Koo was brought back by one person. A fan, just like you, who didn’t want to see these great drinks disappear. We are not some huge corporation and don’t want to be. Our goals are simple. Give the fans Great Tasting Drinks with Big Energy at a good price and listen to the fans. We do read every email and as anyone who has written us knows, you get a response. We appreciate our fans and want you to know how important you are to us. Without you, this comeback couldn’t work. After a lot of discussion and research, we have decided that the next flavor will be the Boo Koo Citrus. That will be followed by Bite. We know how great it would be to have all the flavors back and to be everywhere in the US and Canada again right now. We are out getting Boo Koo back in stores every day and are having a lot of success, but it’s not easy. It’s a crowded marketplace for Energy Drinks and there is limited shelf space. We hear it all the time, “We’d love to carry Boo Koo again, but we don’t have any space at this time.” Energy Drinks come and go and distributors are worried about taking on a product in a category that is so uncertain, unless it is proven. This is the whole reason we are selling online. We want it to be available to our fans while we work to get it back on shelves near you. It will take time to get Boo Koo back in stores everywhere it used to be. Distributors and chain stores look at sales when determining what drinks they carry or go on their shelves. Combining the online and store sales make us look that much better. So we want to say thank you to everyone that has bought online and in stores. We are getting close to being able to produce our first run of Citrus. We do not have a set date for the Citrus as it all depends on sales. In fact, if everyone that has liked our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages, bought just one case online, we would be able to make both the Citrus and Bite. That’s how close we are. Like we said, we couldn’t do this without you and hope that everyone that has bought a Boo Koo Wild Berry feels that it is a great product and a good value. We appreciate the patience you have shown and please know we are not sitting back and waiting for things to happen. We are working hard to get Boo Koo back in stores close to you.
